Sweetest Dreams

Lately, I’ve been trying a sleepy tea, and its been helping.

I was a bit sceptical, at first. I’ve tried them before, and they haven’t done much for me. Or I’ve found them to not taste very nice. Or the chamomile is too strong, and ruins it.

But the other weekend, I was in a specialist tea shop, in Oxford. They’re called T2Tea and had more flavours than I knew existed. They also had large print labels for everything, reasonable prices, and colour contrasted signs, all easy to read and find.

I spotted the Sweetest Dreams and was tempted. Its more of a fruity one, with apples and lime, and not as much chamomile. The woman in the store recommended it for insomnia, when I said what I was after. It wasn’t too expensive, so I went for it.

And I’m really liking it. It smells and tastes really nice, like a warm hug, and isn’t too strong of a taste or smell. It smells a bit like incense, like an old indian antiques store I know in Hitchin. And it’s been working wonders. It’s made me really sleepy, becoming part of my wind down routine. I have been combining it with my sleeping tablets, which might be hitting me stronger. But I’ve slept really well. The other night I slept through without waking, for seven hours. That hasn’t happened in months. And it’s been really deep sleep, like I am properly resting for once. I feel more energised for the day ahead, and find the days easier to manage.

I’m really liking it, and glad I decided to give it a try. And the good thing is that they have a website, so I can order more without trekking to Oxford.
