I’m considering starting to write another novella. Have I finished the second draft of my current one? Nope.
But I got inspired by the flash fiction festival. There was this Prose Poetry session, about putting mythological creatures in odd locations, around a life experience and it sparked something. I wrote one piece about the visual impairment journey, with some greek gods in it. And it sparked something. I wrote some other pieces about that year, with Norse gods of course, and it sounds like it could be a really good story. I’m not sure how far into the present it will come. But I want to do this.
I know I shouldn’t do two novellas at the same time. But I would like to write this one aswell. Its all myth based with the other one anyway. Will I try to do both projects and end up exhausted? Probably. Will I have fun? Absolutely. Am I excited? Definitely.
