Loving Elephants

Elephants

I’ve always loved elephants. There just something about them that captivates me.

They seem so magnificent, and mystical. These large, ancient creatures that roam from place to place, wandering along routes older than time, that seem almost otherworldly. They have a grand, an elegance to them, grandly marching along with such a majesty that you have to stop and stare.

They walk slowly, no hurry. I love that about them. They take their time, knowing they will get to where they need to be, no rush needed. It inspires me, reassures me that its okay to go at my own pace, if the elephants are doing it too.

They have expressive faces, and it always make me smile when they flap their ears. They have that look in their eyes, kind and gentle, full of wisdom older than the earth. Its like they reach into me, and I into them, a connection of souls only we know.

I love elephants, and I always will.
