A New Approach

I’m not very good with decorators. I could write for hours about the sensory overload they cause me with extra sounds and smells. But this time has been different, and better, because I’ve recently come across a new approach, which I will try today.

I love Norse music. And Norse mythology. I found a playlist online of Dwarven inspired music, working inside a forge. And I thought, why can’t this decorator be like that? Pretend to my mind that its only an ancient smith, a dwarf of old, working in the furnace to make me some legendary sword of old, or Odin’s spear, or perhaps even Mjolnir itself. And its been helping. The decorator becomes more of a friend, less of a threat. And all his sounds are welcome, for it must be done to forge great weapons.

I’m not sure where this approach or this piece is going. But this new approach is helping today.
